At Lawrence Eye Care Associates, P.A., our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We inform you about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Payment is requested at the time of service. If the doctors are participants with your insurance company, we will file the claim for you and bill you for any balance due after insurance payment.
Any co-payments due will be collected at the time of the service.

Lawrence Eye Care Associates, P.A. participates with Medicare and a variety of insurance plans. When making an appointment, please mention your insurance carrier. We can inform you of our level of participation with your carrier and whether a special referral is needed from your primary care doctor.
Our practice is not contracted with Medicaid Insurance and we do NOT accept vision plans. The following plans will NOT be accepted: Amerigroup Kancare, United Healthcare Kancare, Sunflower Kancare, Traditional Medicaid, All Vision Plans.
If after insurance makes its payment to Lawrence Eye Care Associates, P.A. and a credit balance results from having collected payment from the patient, then Lawrence Eye Care Associates, P.A. will refund the credit balance to the member within sixty (60) days from the date the overpayment is identified, unless directed by the patient to apply the credit balance to their account for future services.
We accept several types of medical insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We can accept payments in person or over the phone. Please call 785-841-2280 to make or schedule your payment today.

We reserve the right to charge for appointments cancelled or broken without 24 hours advance notice.
Please bring all insurance information with you to each appointment, as well as a listing of current medications you are taking, both prescription and non-prescription. Please bring all insurance information and a photo ID to each appointment.
Medical records are strictly confidential. Lawrence Eye Care Associates, P.A., requires that you sign an authorization form before any requests for copies of your records can be fulfilled. Record copy fees may apply.
